For students in North America, September is generally synonymous with the return of school. As daunting or comforting as that may sound, most of us will find the first few weeks of school to be “foreign”. After all, we had just spent a couple of weeks away, either travelling abroad or completing side projects in the comfort of our homes. To help students adapt to the school environment, Teenlytical is initiating an article series designed to prepare students for school.
On a side note, it’s absolutely normal to experience fear, concern, or even feelings of sickness with the thought of school returning. The reality is that everyone has different levels of preference when it comes to learning or communicating in a school environment, with so many students, teachers, and work constantly surrounding you. These feelings are natural and all students experience them at some point in time, whether that be elementary, middle, or high-school. Can’t forget the university students too.
So, stay tuned for upcoming articles! Here’s a sneak peek of two of the articles to come:
- How to deal with test anxiety: why do I forget things before a test?
- 5 must-read free resources for high school students
